SScrap Price Index Methodology

The SScrap Price Index displays verified SScrap doorstep pickup rates. It is a record of rates offered by SScrap, not a statement of every buyer or market price.

Geographic coverage

Current records cover Delhi NCR. A rate applies only where SScrap confirms pickup service and may change by location, logistics and material availability.

Material grade and condition

Published rates are material and condition specific. Final pickup value can vary with grade, contamination, moisture, quantity, segregation and on-site verification. A listed rate is not a guaranteed payout for every item.

Updates and history

Rates are updated when SScrap verifies a change. Each verified update creates a new retained record; previous records are never overwritten. No historical data is fabricated. Movement, high/low and charts appear only after enough genuine records exist.

SScrap rates and general market indications

SScrap pickup rates are operational rates for SScrap service in Delhi NCR. General market indications can reflect other cities, grades, transaction sizes or buyer conditions, so they should not be treated as identical.
