These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of sscrap.com, SScrap pickup services and related services. By using the website or submitting a pickup request, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Our service
SScrap enables users to request collection of eligible recyclable or scrap material. Service availability, timing, pickup area, minimum quantity and accepted materials may vary. A submitted request is not guaranteed until our team confirms it.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement and authorised to sell or dispose of the material offered. If you arrange a pickup for another person, property or organisation, you confirm that you have permission to do so.
4. Pickup bookings
- Provide accurate contact, address, material and scheduling information.
- Keep materials reasonably accessible and be available at the agreed time.
- Tell us about access restrictions, unusually heavy items or safety concerns in advance.
- We may reschedule, decline or cancel a pickup due to location, quantity, material type, safety, weather, operational constraints or inaccurate information.
5. Rates, weighing and payment
Website rates are indicative and may change with market conditions. Final value depends on the material category, grade, cleanliness, quantity and measured weight at pickup. Where applicable, weighing and calculation will be explained during collection.
The available payment method and timing will be confirmed as part of the pickup. Any disagreement about material classification or weight should be raised before the transaction is completed.
6. Materials we may refuse
We may refuse unsafe, illegal, stolen, contaminated, hazardous, medical, explosive or otherwise restricted material, as well as items we are not equipped or authorised to handle. You must disclose relevant hazards before pickup.
7. User responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the website, submit false requests, interfere with service operation, harass pickup personnel, infringe third-party rights or offer material you do not own or have authority to sell.
8. Service communications
When you submit a pickup request or contact us, you consent to receiving service-related calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages or emails needed to confirm, manage or support that request. This does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated promotional communication.
9. Intellectual property
The SScrap name, logo, website design, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to SScrap and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without permission, except as allowed by law.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and service are provided on an “as available” basis. While we aim to provide reliable information and service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, exact pickup timing or that indicative rates will remain unchanged.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SScrap will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website or service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Third-party services
Links, messaging platforms, maps, analytics or payment services provided by third parties may be subject to their own terms. SScrap is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our control.
12. Changes and termination
We may modify, suspend or discontinue part of the service, or update these Terms. The latest version will appear on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve any concern by contacting SScrap. Subject to applicable consumer rights and law, disputes will be handled by courts having appropriate jurisdiction in Uttar Pradesh, India.
